Flight Lesson

This video was developed for high school science classes and demonstrates the 4 forces that make flight possible. This is a good resource for those of us who aren’t able to take a field trip to the local airport and demonstrate this to our students.

    I think it’s great that people are teaching aerodynamics in high schools. I got my pilot’s license when I was in college, and I learned all kinds of stuff that I can apply in other areas of life – like multitasking, being decisive, and making judgements. Some students are VERY interested in flight and you’ll have their attention.
