One of my brothers sent me the link to this mini-game. It’s a very quick game, but it’s addicting. My best time so far is 11.625 seconds after 9 attempts. How well can you do? Post your best time in the comments and let’s declare the king of the red square.
What are some ways that this could be used in the classroom?
WoW!! I am speechless? you ROCK. I hope this goes far and wide, you deserve it.
Thanks, but please note that I didn’t create the game, mistykal. 🙂
I made it to 20.812 seconds on my FIRST try. Boo-yah!
One of my students made it to 33 seconds. Incredible. They said it could be used in a classroom for a mini-competition, which is what we did. Also they said they looked for patterns, so it may can be used in a class if you had to teach patterns. Maybe geometry? Some said it helped with hand/eye coordination.
22.101 Yay!
20.719
19.512 seconds
I made it 15.393 seconds
Clif, I lasted 18.672 seconds in your little game on my fourth try… Go to the top right corner and then hang in the top left!
I made it 10.6 seconds. I’m not sure how it could be used in education, other than perhaps to teach shapes or pesistence. Oh well, it took my mind off the 10 page research paper for a few minutes, anyway!
After more than 20 times I’m up to 16.219 seconds. Everyone else here is clearly better at this than I, but I can live with that. 🙂
16.758 seconds – but it’s really choppy on my linux machine for some reason. It works smoothly for a while and then it seems to catch and ends with my block someplace other than where i was holding it.
I tried about 20-25 times and 16.758 was the longest I could dodge before it locked up
Chad,
Wow! How many attempts did it take you?
I am up to 19 seconds!
Try Peggle if you want a quick addiction … its very silly just to warn you but sucks you in.
