Memories from Podstock 2009

Anytime you get innovative educators with a desire to improve education together you’re likely to have a great event. Podstock 2009 was exceptionally good. It had a unique theme and attitude, the ESSDACK crew went above and beyond to be hospitable, and the presentations (see notes from Day 1, Day 2) were informative and engaging. Here’s a fun music video from Sara Childs that gives you some idea what it was like to be part of Podstock 2009.

  1. Clif, You did such a great job as keynote. Your conversation regarding higher order teaching has challenged me to work on bumping up my teaching. Your information and foresight was innovative and inspirational. Thanks for sharing with our ‘Plurksberg’at Podstock.

    1. Thanks for the kind feedback, Velma. It was the beginning of a fun and important conversation. I hope we all keep it going.

  2. Thanks for sharing my video! I’d like to give credit also to Charlie Mahoney and Ginger Lewman for the music, and Kevin Honeycutt for the lyrics. And of course, the countless folks who took the great pics!
