If a picture is worth a thousand words, then this short video speaks for itself. THIS is truly “must see TV.”

  1. We all should be able to come up with some act of kindness that will change people’s perception of one another! you did it it, well done.

When I saw this, it made me think of how lucky we all are, I mean people who live in the material world that is!!!!!!!!!!

For me, I work with homeless people and see on a day to day basis, man’s ignorance and people to busy to care about anyone but themselves.

You restored my faith, in Humanity that is!

  2. I remember there was a episode of This American Life that had to do with someone who wanted to create a program around givings of this nature. As most things on TAL and in life in general, there was two sides to the story. Sometimes it was a great help, other times it really took a lot out of people. Got to admit way better than bombs as was stated above. 😀

  3. thanks for the post, really touchin story, there’s no word to describe this story, truly inspiring. This goes to show that just a small random act of kindness can make a big difference.

    thanks again for the post

  4. This a wonderful story. Another way to help the poor help themselves be in business is through micro-loans, which I participate in. It is now possible for individuals to make these loans. I have made about 20 of them. Go to Kiva.org. Once you make a few loans you will do wonderful things and feel wonderful. Its a win-win.

  5. By far, the most refreshing video I’ve ever seen on the internet. Your unselfish and giving gesture has touched my heart. If only there were more people like you in this world. Thank you for being a truly great example of loving kindness!!!!!!!

  6. Loved the video. Are people getting involved after this? would like to know.

  7. Speechless is not the word, what a wonderful gesture to do for a family in need.
The world needs people like yourself who dont just sit on thier arses but get of them and actualy make a difference to fellow mankind.

  8. The United States, my country, will spend upwards of a million dollars on one cruise missile. This cruise missile will have our names on it. It will eventually land somewhere, on some hovel in some foreign country, on some misbegotten military adventure, heralded by some scumbag President as a blow for freedom. It will create more terrorists than it will kill.

What a waste of the potential of our people and of their productive capacity! What a waste of our potential as a force for awakening on this planet!

Thanks for this video. Reminds me of why I am an anarcho-capitalist, of how useless the state is for most human purposes, how it diverts capital into the machinery of death. Any good brought into the world is through the agency of individuals such as this man and his wife and the donor in the United States. It’s a small symbolic gesture that will reap unseen benefits.

    Rage Against the Machine.

  9. Truly wonderful to actually take the time and effort to change a family life. Most people are preoccupied with just the money rather than taking direct action like this.

  10. Wonderful story! What if thieves steal the water buffalo in the middle of the night and take it to another province then what? It’s not like two old ladies and a little girl can stop them. Should’ve installed lojack for water buffalo’s! lol!

  11. If only the whole world had more people like this. Thank you for helping someone in need.
