I heard several songs today each of which brought back vivid memories of high school. Isn’t it interesting how a song can cause you to recall a particular memory, setting, emotion, etc.? There are certainly teaching and learning implications that should be considered.
So, today’s question is what songs hold strong high school memories for you?
Many of this blog’s readers and I are mourning the death of Taylor Bradford. He was an outgoing individual and a member of the football team. My thoughts and prayers are with all who loved Taylor.

Here’s the world (in)famous Here It Goes Again treadmill video from the band OK Go. I think educators and instructional designers should take note of the success of this and other insanely popular viral videos and consider the implications related to teaching, learning, and motivation. (A viral video is a video that has been passed around many times and has gained popularity largely by word of mouth, email, instant messaging, or online bulletin boards, rather than a publicity campaign.)
